That’s why Clearwater Marine Aquarium exists. In an average year, Clearwater Marine Aquarium responds to many dolphin, otter, sea turtle, and bird strandings.  Rescued animals are brought back to Clearwater Marine Aquarium for immediate treatment and rehabilitation with the hopes of returning them back to their natural environment. After the best care is administered, many animals are released. Some cannot be released and depend on Clearwater Marine Aquarium for their longevity, like Winter the Dolphin. Their stories are touching, inspiring and remarkable. As many of you know, we are home the the famous dolphin "Winter" and she has an amazing story about her rescue and rehab which you can visit HERE. Our camp options feature snorkeling and even SCUBA diving in sea grass beds and sand flats, kayaking through local estuaries, meeting &greeting our rescued residents, and discovering fascinating marine creatures in their natural habitat.
