The Pier in St. Petersburg is a major tourist attraction here in downtown St. Petersburg because it encompasses some of the most fun activities you can do by the water such as boat rides, sunset and dolphin cruises and tours,fishing, dining, and of course some of the best shopping in town.

The events and activities held on The Pier in St. Pete are constantly changing and include a weekly FREE music concert held every Sunday afternoon in the Courtyard by the Bay. If you own a boat or a home near The Pier, it is very hard to not notice its interesting shape overlooking beautiful Tampa Bay. If you are looking for things to do in St. Petersburg, you can visit the amazing aquarium on the second floor that has fish tanks and exhibits on marine life in Tampa Bay that will educate the entire family.! The Pier contains many well known restaurants such as The Columbia , Cha Cha Coconuts, Jonny Reno's,and Fresco’s. Fresco's Water front Bar and Grill is located on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Bayshore and is part of The Pier's family of restaurants. There are also a few dockside eateries such as burgers, pizza,Chinese, and coney dogs for that oldtime Florida feel.

“The Pier is a great place to visit if you are downtown!. The views are amazing and it is an amazing place to fish from with the 360 degree views of Tampa Bay.
